Ragweed Season Will Soon be Upon Us
Ragweed is the most allergenic plant of North America and the number one cause of fall hay fever. Ragweed plants produce billions of pollen grains that are easily caught by the wind and spread throughout the region.

With the return of summer comes the return of Smog Season. During Smog Season, the Hamilton County Department of Environmental Services (HCDOES) monitors the daily concentrations of ground-level ozone and particulate matter (PM) in the four-county region of Southwest Ohio.

Don’t Let the Heat Keep You from Being Green
With the summer weather rolling in, it can be difficult to focus on anything other than getting out and soaking up the sun. As you prepare for vacations, sporting events and the heat, remember that there are lots of ways to cut back on air pollution and continue to live green.
