Smog Season Underway
During Smog Season, the Hamilton County Department of Environmental Services monitors the daily concentrations of ground-level ozone and particulate matter (PM) in the four-county region of Southwest Ohio. If the data indicate that ozone or particulate matter may exceed National Ambient Air Quality Standards, a Smog Alert is issued.
