Why Recycle?

Recycling can save you money! Property managers often reduce their total solid waste management costs if residents recycle enough material to decrease the trash container size or collection frequency. This is because many haulers collect recycling at a lower cost than collection and disposal of an equal volume of trash.

Recycling benefits our community! According to a recent study by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the recycling industry has a total economic impact of 169,000 jobs and $6 billion in annual wages, just in the state of Ohio.

Recycling impacts the environment! Creating products from used paper, plastic, and metal instead of raw material reduces pollution, conserves landfill space, and decreases the need for mining, logging, and drilling for natural resources.

By providing your tenants or neighbors the opportunity to recycle, you can save money, help create a stronger economy in Ohio, and ensure a cleaner environment for future generations.
