Addyston - The Village has a curbside recycling program provided by Rumpke Recycling. Residents are billed directly for weekly waste/recycling services. The following items can be recycled: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food).

Amberley - Garbage and recycling collection services are provided to Amberley Village residents through a contract with Rumpke. Residents may purchase a 65-gallon recycling cart from Rumpke Recycling for $65.

Recyclables are collected once a week on the same day as trash. The following items can be recycled: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food). Amberley Village also has a recycling drop-off at their Municipal Building, 7149 Ridge Road, that accept the following items: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food).

Anderson Township - A Recycling Drop-Off is located at the Anderson Township Operations Center/Fire Department, 7954 Beechmont Avenue (near the Park & Ride). The following items can be recycled: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food). Plastic bags are also collected at this location - place empty plastic bags in the container marked "Plastic bags only."

Anderson Township residents must set up both garbage and recycling services with an area hauler - either Rumpke, CSI Waste, or Forest Green.

  • Residents that recycle through Rumpke Recycling can recycle the following items at the curb: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food).   • Residents that recycle through CSI Waste can recycle the following items at the curb: plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, and cardboard (please flatten to conserve space). CSI provides every-other-week recycling collection. To sign up for service with CSI, call 771-4200.
  • Residents that recycle through Forest Green can recycle the following items at the curb: plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, and cardboard (please flatten to conserve space). Forest Green provides weekly recycling collection. To sign up for service with Forest Green call 851-9036.

Blue Ash - The City of Blue Ash offers weekly curbside recycling service to its residents using a regular recycling bin, a 65 gallon toter or both through a contract with Rumpke. Cheviot - The City of Cheviot has two recycling drop-offs for its residents only. The drop-offs are located at:

  • Goodwill (behind building) 3980 North Bend Rd.
  • Cheviot Maintenance Garage 3729 Robb Ave. Cheviot, OH 45211

Both drop-offs accept the following materials: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food).

Cincinnati - The City of Cincinnati offers curbside recycling once per week through a contract with Rumpke Recycling. The following items are accepted in the curbside program: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food). This program is available to single-family homes and multi-family units with four or less units.

  • Colerain Township Community & Senior Center, 4200 Springdale Road. This site is available 24 hours/day.
  • Colerain Park, 4725 Springdale Road. This site is open from dawn to dusk.
  • Pleasant Run Middle School, 11770 Pippin Road. The dumpsters will be open year round, 24 hours a day.

Columbia Township - Columbia Township offers weekly curbside recycling services through a contract with Rumpke Recycling. Glendale - The Village of Glendale offers one recycling drop-off for its residents. The following items are accepted in the drop-off program: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food). Golf Manor - The Village offers weekly curbside recycling and waste services through a contract with Rumpke. Every resident is provided a 96-gallon wheeled garbage cart and an 18-gallon recycling bin (additional bins are available at no cost or residents may choose a 65-gallon recycling toter instead at no cost) through Rumpke.

  • Residents can recycle the following items at the curb: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food). Green Township - Green Township residents must sign-up for recycling with their waste hauler (Rumpke or Forest Green). If the hauler is Rumpke, the following items are accepted in the curbside program: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food). To get a bin, call Rumpke Recycling at 242-4600. There is a small monthly charge for recycling with Rumpke.

If the hauler is Forest Green, residents can recycle the following items at the curb: plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, and cardboard (please flatten to conserve space). Forest Green provides weekly recycling collection. To sign up for service with Forest Green call 851-9036.

If a resident has garbage service through Bavarian, they do not provide curbside recycling.

Green Township also has four recycling drop-off's that accepts the following items: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food). The drop-offs are located at:

  • Kuliga Park (6717 Bridgetown Road) near the yard waste drop off site. This site is open from 7 am - Dark.
  • Blue Rock Park (3010 Blue Rock Road) near the restrooms. This site is open from 7 am - Dark.
  • Green Township Senior Center (3620 Epley Road). This site is open 24-hours.
  • Sam's Club (5375 North Bend Road). This site is open 24-hours.

Green Hills - The Village of Greenhills offers recycling through Rumpke at a cost of $24/year. The following items are accepted: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food).
To get a bin, residents may either mail a check for $24 to the Municipal Office, 11000 Winton Road, 45218, and a red recycling bin will be delivered to the residence, or they may stop by the Municipal Office during operating hours to personally pick up a bin. Residents are billed annually thereafter.

Harrison - The City of Harrison offers weekly curbside recycling service through a contract with Rumpke Recycling. The City of Harrison also has two recycling drop-off's that accepts the following items: all plastic bottles & jugs (remove lids), glass bottles & jars, aluminum cans, steel cans, empty aerosol cans (remove tips), newspapers, magazines, phone books, brown paper grocery bags, junk mail, office paper, cardboard (please flatten to conserve space), paperboard (i.e., cereal boxes), envelopes and clean pizza boxes (please remove food). The 24-hour drop-offs are located at:

  • The old waterworks building on North State Street at Thomas Lane.
  • The parking lot in front of the Harrison Community Center (300 George Street).

Indian Hill - The Village of Indian Hill provides service every other week on the same day as your garbage pick up. Since this service is bi-weekly, each resident will receive a calendar identifying the days of each month that you recyclables will be collected. If your scheduled pick up falls on a holiday, the pick up will be on a Monday. Participants in the Village Recycling Program will receive 4 blue plastic bins provided by the Public Works Department. The resident also has the option to purchase a toter from the Public Works Department. Recyclables no longer have to be separated. Acceptable items include: glass bottles and jars; plastic bottles and jugs; aluminum and steel cans; newspapers, phonebooks, office paper, cardboard.

Lincoln Heights - The Village offers a paper recycling drop-off located at the municipal building (1201 Steffens Avenue). This drop-off only accepts the following: catalogs, magazines, newspapers, junk mail, office paper, fax paper and file folders. Cardboard or phone books are NOT acceptable. For information about other recycling drop-offs, contact the Hamilton County Solid Waste Management District at 946-7734 or visit the District's recycling drop-off page.

Lockland - The Village of Lockland sponsors a 24-hour drop-off located on Cooper Street (Village Parking Lot). City of Madeira - The City of Madeira offers free curbside recycling pickup one time per week (same day as garbage collection) through a contract with CSI.
