in 2009
Household Hazardous Waste
Starting March 14, 2009, residents can drop off their household hazardous waste for free at two locations.
The southern location at 4600 Spring Grove Avenue is open Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to
6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (closed 4/11, 5/23, 7/4, and 9/5).
The northern location at 10163 Cincinnati-Dayton Road in Sharonville is open on
Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Residents can drop off paint, pesticides, fertilizers, automotive fluids and more. The program will run through November 14, 2009. Please include a complete list of locations and operating hours in all communication with your residents. Visit

Yardwaste Recycling Drop-Off Sites
Residents can drop off yardwaste at three sites in Hamilton County at no cost from March 28, 2009 until November 22, 2009. All three sites are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
East (Anderson Township) Bzak Landscaping, 3295 Turpin Lane
West (Green Township) Kuliga Park, 6717 Bridgetown Road
North (Colerain Township) Rumpke Landfill, Struble Road and Colerain Avenue
All sites accept brush and tree branches cut into lengths of less than 4 feet and smaller than 12 inches in diameter. Sites closed on 4/12, 7/4, 5/25, and 9/7. Visit

Computer Recycling Drop-Off
Residents can recycle computers and computer related equipment for free at Technology Recycling Group (TRG), 11093 Kenwood Road in Blue Ash. TRG will recycle or rebuild computers and donate them to schools. TRG will either wipe hard drives with Department of Defense approved software or shred the hard drive. Residents can drop off equipment anytime between 8 a.m. and
4 p.m., Monday through Friday,
starting May 1st until December 30th, closed major holidays. Visit

Television Recycling Drop-Off
Residents can also recycle their televisions at TRG, 11093 Kenwood Road in Blue Ash. TRG will accept Sony, LG, Zenith, or Goldstar televisions at no cost through a take-back partnership with Sony. Residents can recycle all other televisions for either $10 per TV if under 60 lbs. or $20 per TV if over 60 lbs. Residents may drop-off televisions Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. from May 1st through December 30th (Closed major holidays).
