Free Yardwaste Drop-Off Sites
Hamilton County residents can drop off their yardwaste for free at three drop-off locations. Approximately 2,100 tons of yardwaste is collected each year.

If you prefer to compost your yardwaste at home, the
District will be conducting a compost bin sale in
the spring, 2010.

March 28 – November 22, 2009
Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
January 2 and January 9, 2010
Saturdays from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
All sites will be closed Easter Sunday, April 12 and Independence Day, July 4
Bzak Landscaping is
also open during the week from 7:30 am - 5 pm and
will be closed: Memorial Day, Monday, May 25 and
Labor Day, Monday, September 7

Guidelines
Brush and tree branches must be cut into lengths of 4 feet or less and must be no larger than 12 inches in diameter.
Brush and tree branches must be bundled. Bundles must not be heavier than 50 pounds.
Yardwaste must be brought to locations in containers or bags – brown paper bags preferred.
Containers and plastic bags will be returned.
Yardwaste in commercial vehicles or from commercial establishments cannot be accepted.
No large trailers or trucks larger than pickups.
No pallets, boards, nails, fence, or wire accepted.
No bricks, stones, or soil accepted.
All children must stay inside vehicles.
