Free Yardwaste Drop-Off Sites

Hamilton County residents can drop off their yardwaste for free at three drop-off locations. Approximately 2,100 tons of yardwaste is collected each year. If you prefer to compost your yardwaste at home, the District will be conducting a compost bin sale this spring. Click here to be added to the mailing list..

Locations

East: Turpin Farm – 3295 Turpin Lane (off Rt. 32), Anderson Township MAP

West: Kuliga Park – 6717 Bridgetown Road, Green Township MAP

North:
Rumpke Landfill – Struble Road & Colerain Avenue, Colerain Township MAP

March 29 – November 30, 2008
Saturdays & Sundays from 11:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

January 3 – January 10, 2009
Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

The Turpin Farm site is also open on weekdays from 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. (closed major holidays)

Guidelines

Brush and tree branches must be cut into lengths of 4 feet or less and must be no larger than 12 inches in diameter.

Brush and tree branches must be bundles. Bundles must not be heavier than 50 pounds.

Yardwaste must be brought to locations in containers or bags - brown paper bags preferred.

Containers and plastic bags will be returned.

Yardwaste in commercial vehicles or from commercial establishments cannot be accepted.

No large trailers or trucks larger than pickups.

No pallets, boards, nails, fence, or wire accepted.

No bricks, stones, or soil accepted.

All children must stay inside vehicles.

Hamilton County residents only.
