Yard Waste Drop-Off Service

The City of Cincinnati will resume weekly pick up of yard waste on April 5th, 2010. A separate truck will collect the yard waste and it will be composted versus going to the landfill.

Place yard waste at your curb by 6AM on your regular trash collection day beside your household trash and green recycling bin.
Place yard waste in a container clearly marked "yardwaste" or put in biodegradable brown paper bags or 90 gallon toters. Yard waste in plastic bags will not be collected.
Branches and brush should be tied into bundles no larger than 2 ft. x 4 ft. and individual tree limbs should be no larger than 6 inches in diameter.
Raking leaves into the street or right-of-way is prohibited and is PUNISHABLE BY LAW.
Residents may also drop off their yard waste at the City-sponsored site.
