Computer Recycling
Locally, there are many private sector and not-for-profit organizations that will recycle and/or refurbish old computers. The District recommends calling prior to dropping off computers to determine if there is a charge for this service. The District has not audited all the facilities listed on this page. Be sure to request that your hard drive is swiped according to Department of Defense guidelines.
