District Announces Yardwaste and Computer Drop-Offs

Yardwaste Recycling Drop-Off Sites
Residents can drop off yardwaste at three sites in Hamilton County at no cost from March 26, 2011 until November 20, 2011. All three sites are open on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    East (Anderson Township) Bzak Landscaping, 3295 Turpin Lane
    West (Green Township) Kuliga Park, 6717 Bridgetown Road
    North (Colerain Township) Rumpke Landfill, Struble Road and
       Colerain Avenue

All sites accept brush and tree branches cut into lengths of less than 4 feet and smaller than 12 inches in diameter. Local compost facilities will recycle all yardwaste collected into usable compost. All sites are closed on Easter Sunday, 4/24, and the Kuliga Park site is closed on 7/2 and 7/3. Computer and Television Recycling Drop-Off
Residents can recycle computers, computer related equipment and televisions for free at 2TRG, 11085 Kenwood Road in Blue Ash. 2TRG will either wipe hard drives with Department of Defense approved software or shred the hard drive. Residents can drop off equipment anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday starting May 2nd until October 31st. Closed Memorial Day – May 30, Independence Day – July 4, and Labor Day – September 5.
