Increase Recycling Again in 2010!
Hamilton County communities continue to raise the bar on recycling and have made 2010 another stellar recycling year. We increased our residential recycling by approximately 3,269 tons between 2009 and 2010! The
residential recycling efforts in Hamilton County:

Conserved enough energy to power 6,786 homes for a year
(more than all the homes in Blue Ash and St. Bernard combined).
Reduced greenhouse gas pollution equal to every household in
Hamilton County not driving their car for almost a month.
Saved 342,789 trees from being harvested
(more than one tree for every resident of Cincinnati).
Over 90% of all Hamilton County communities improved their recycling rates between 2009 and 2010! The following communities achieved major increases in their recycling rates:
