Middletown Coke
PM2.5 Monitoring Results
On June 2, 2011, sample
collection began at the Amanda Elementary Site. The first sample was
collected at the Yankee Road site on July 5, 2011. Samples are
collected every three days for a 24 hour period beginning at
midnight. Sample collection uses a Federal Reference Method which
has a flow of 16.67 liters per minute.
The 24-hour
National Ambient Air Quality Standard for PM2.5 is 35.0 micrograms
per cubic meter (µg/m3).
The Annual Average National Ambient Air Quality Standard is 15
micrograms per cubic meter (µg/m3)
averaged over 3 years.
