School Waste Reduction Grant Program

The District's Solid Waste Reduction Grant Program is designed to help schools that want to begin or improve waste reduction and recycling programs.  The District will distribute up to $10,000 through a competitive grant application process in 2008.  Grants are available to assist schools with innovative waste reduction, recycling, and/or compost programs that will significantly reduce the grantees’ waste stream.

The grant application for the 2008 - 2009 school year is due on February 25, 2008.
