Pencil made from Blue Jeans, Currency or Cardboard
After you finish your recycling unit, and your students know how to recycle in Hamilton County and why it is important, reward them with a unique pencil made with a post-consumer recycled material.

Compost Bin and Education Wheel
After your students have investigated decomposition, teach them about composting with a free compost bin for school grounds. Two models available. Once your students understand composting reward them with a "Rott Wheeler," an easy reference guide, they can take home.

This CD-ROM provides an overview of environmental risks in Ohio and gives suggestions to reduce them. The program offers a look at dozens of problems affecting our air, land, water and animal habitats. You will gain a better understanding of environmental issues while browsing through facts, stories, surveys, videos, games and more. Natural Resource Kits
These kits help students better understand natural resources. Each kit contains a sample of bauxite, iron ore, wood chips, sand, and oil, which are the raw materials used for aluminum, steel, paper, glass, and plastic. Limited supplies available. This new activity book helps students realize the importance of caring for their environment by teaching them about the 3R's.
