bring nature awareness to young children in an educational setting.
Through a combination of costumes, storytelling, and hands on
encounters, each program becomes an enriching educational experience.
Jean and her partner Jane Gonzales, a mother of two who is particularly
interested in helping children become aware that nature is as close as
their own backyard, offer a variety of programs about birds, insects,
dinosaurs, ocean creatures, Native Americans, and more.

"Garbage Is My Bag" Assembly Show
Appropriate for Grades K - 8.
This 45-minute assembly program for elementary schools is not only an
entertaining experience, but an educational one as well, with many of
the State's proficiency standards addressed. Jack Golden is the comedic
‘expert,' Dr. T, who delves into a mountain of trash -- and an even
bigger bag of vaudeville and circus tricks -- in search of answers to
the problems of solid waste disposal. With a "Ph.D. in Garbology," a
zany and irresistible personality and a marvelous Trash-to-Treasure-o-Matic
recycling machine, he juggles and jokes his way through a world of
waste. Dr. T delights his audiences while sharing his knowledge that
rubbish is a resource that is just too good to throw away.
Assembly: limit 375 students

District Subsidy: $250 (50%)
Retail Cost: $500
