Household Hazardous Products One Day Drop-off Event

When: Saturday, October 23 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Rain or Shine.

Where: Madisonville (specific location provided upon registration)

Who: Hamilton County, Ohio residents only. Materials from businesses, non-profit or religious organizations will not be accepted. 

Cost: Free, yet advance registration is required. This is a popular event and space is limited. Early registration is recommended to secure your spot. Registration for this event will remain open until all times slots are filled or until Friday, October, 22 at 12:00pm, whichever occurs first.

Accepted materials: batteries, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, solvents, thinners, stains, oil-based paint, lead paint, propane tanks, fire extinguishers, gasoline, motor oil, kerosene, gasoline/oil mix, brake fluid, anti-freeze, driveway sealer, roof tar, fluorescent lights, cleaners, pool chemicals, mercury, thermostats, and thermometers. 

Unaccepted materials: latex paint, radioactive materials, smoke detectors, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, flares, controlled substances, yard trimmings, tires, unknown materials/liquids, and garbage.

Please be aware that latex paints are on the list of Unaccepted materials and will not be collected at this event. Latex paints are not hazardous and can be safely disposed of with your trash. Click here to learn how to properly prepare your latex paints for disposal

If you are unable to participate in this one-day event due to religious obligations but do have acceptable materials you wish to dispose of, please call 513-946-7737.

2021 Household Hazardous Product Collection Registration

  1. Thank you for your interest in our Household Hazardous Products One Day Drop-off Event.

    This event is a free service offered to all Hamilton County residents that allows us to ensure that these materials are properly disposed of, including:

    - Pesticides
    - Automotive fluids
    - Cleaning products
    - Lawn and pool chemicals

    Latex paints will not be accepted during this event.  Latex paints are not hazardous waste and can be safely disposed of with your trash. Click here to learn how to prepare latex paints for disposal.
